Once that's completed, click on 'Apply' and you should be able to scan to that PC. This will send a command to the copier to confirm communications pathways and test them. Once you've highlighted that IP address, click on the 'Auto Detect' button to the right. In the 'Known Scanners' window make sure the IP check-marked matches that of the copier you're scanning from. Once the tool launches, click on the 'Scanners' tab. Next, highlight 'Product Configuration', then choose the sub-menu item 'Network Scanner Tool'. What you should do is go to each PC with SharpDesk installed and launch the program, then go to the pulldown menu and click on 'Tools'. SharpDesk is designed to work with a myriad of systems as a scan interface, but older versions (pre 3.2) can be buggy, especially with Adobe Acrobat/Reader below version 7. Chances are it's the configuration of SharpDesk that's in question here.
